Hurrah, I thought Colwick cheese was gone forever, then saw Countryfile last night! Well done!!
I was absolutely delighted to see Country files article about Colwick Cheese. My grandmother,who came from Nottingham,used to make this when i was a child.Over the years i have tried to find this cheese without success.I intend to buy some of this and introduce my sons,now in their 40’s, to this wonderful cheese. How i wish i had watched and listened to my grandmother and learnt how to make this. Wonderful that it is now being made and sold again.
